On Broadway: Lewis Black in Black to the Future, and Oh, Hello on Broadway
Lewis Black is coming back on Broadway. The ever-frantic comic is bringing his show “Black to the Future” and people are eager to hear what he has to say. Especially right now in the middle of the political events that have unfolded and the ones to come. The presentation will take place during four consecutive Mondays.
His brand new show will be taking place at the Marquis Theater this fall and for a very short time.
Lewis Black is a standup comedian who made his debut on the Daily Show. He then went on to star in several comedy specials for HBO, Showtime, Epix, and Comedy Central. Black has also starred in some movies such as, Once in a Lifetime, Camino Real, The Matchmaker, and Dead End.
Black is considered the king of the rant. Whenever he is on stage, he will rank against whoever gets under his skin. With his trademark yelling and using a digital pointer, he will take on Clinton and Trump. The audience loves it! This Broadway show will premiere on September 12 and ends on October 10.
Another great piece of comedy, “Oh, Hello”, is also starting on Broadway this fall. Only this one begins on October 10 and into January. Nick Kroll and John Mulaney join to offer this groundbreaking piece of comedy.
The two comedians, star as their alter egos, Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland. The show includes the outrageous opinions of the comedians on pretty much any topic that might make the audience laugh. The 70-something-year-olds first started performing these two characters on the alt-comedy stages in New York.
